Lesse.. no layout for either site yet, seeing as my computer has been through ups and downs like crazy as of late. Have horrible explorer errors right now. Dan says he'll help me through it. He got his oh-so-wonderful cable connection yesterday. There were some problems with it and a tech guy had to come in and fix it today. All these little black 'fun' boxes are making me nervous.

I've been reading the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCafferey. It's pretty good. There are little character-analyzing books after the first two/three. I didn't like them much. I guess I'm not really hyped about the one I'm reading now, because it puts you back in the past. I suppose that since the initial time-line did have some time travel to the past going on, that would be okay, but if that doesn't come in to this book soon I'm gonna get purty dissapointed. I'd like to know what's going to happen to the characters that I originally read about, not these people. Oh well, I'm determined to read the entire series.

Speaking of reading, we finished up Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck a few days ago in English. Pretty good book. I actually have 'favorite' chapters out of it. Definately reccomended reading for those who read.

She has got a new layout up. Great as always. Now if only I could catch some of her mad skills and get some friggin' inspiration. Oh well.

I find that I've been writing an awful lot lately. Everytime I really get to thinking I turn to the next page in my notebook and just start writing. Lately it's been about Dan and the really twitty stupid people my school is full of. I guess I'm trying to get all those frustrating thoughts out of my head. I think it's working, but I couldn't tell.

It seems as though my mind's just burned out. Everyone's telling me that I should take a 'mental health day' and stay home from school. That won't do any good, really, because there's just more work to do when I get back to school. I find B-days are getting more relaxing, though. Except for Chemistry, which I'm suprised I'm not flunking. The work is so hard in that class and the teacher is so.. wierd. He always tries to joke with you and make you mad at the same time, while scolding you for not understanding something he can't teach well. Geesh.

My stuff in Pottery has been turning out alright. My egg was cool, my fish was awesome, my pinch pot was friggin' messed up, but the design was cool. My coil bottle just sucked a lot, which is why it is sitting on the top of the fridge where no one really looks. I glazed my little box thing a few weeks ago, but I haven't got it back yet. I was thinking of making it a gift for Dan. I have to make something for Maryam too. I gave my egg to my gramma. I was going to give my coil bottle to Betty [Dan's mom] but it turned out so bad I'm suprised anyone could look at it. I'll make something for her later. I'd love to see how my box turned out. Right now we're doing a special glaze on these boxes with lids. It's awesome. Mine has dragons and moons on it. I like dragons. Rowr!

I'm glad to hear that my cousin Ally is back in a house. She was living in a hotel for the longest time. Oh, the sacrifices for getting a house built for your family, eh? I seriously don't know how either she or Eric could stand sharing a room for as long as they did. Remember guys, Jen loves to visit! ^.^

Christmas is coming and I haven't even started shopping. Ugh.

My friend Josh gave me some post-birthday presents today. A Rainbow Brite steering wheel cover and a poster of a cute little elf/fairy. It's greeeen. I'm going to hang it up as soon as I get home, I'm at Dan's now.

Lesse.. the party on friday was pretty good. Bobby, Maryam, Charlie, and Josh all came. Dan was there too, of course. My grandma drove me crazy, because she was running around trying to take control of everything.

Not much else to say, other than I got 1000+ hits, yay!!!!

I've got a new layout actually being completed now, for the homepage! Yay!

My birthday was Thursday! ^.^ Maryam gave me a book on yoga and Dan got me one of those pairs of Hallmark kissing bears with the magnets in them. ^.^ Jordan gave me a Japanese dictionary. My dad got me a buncha old PlayStation games, Final Fantasy 7, Top Gun (more for himself. ^.^) and Gauntlet Legends. And a new TV.

These people from a church in Topeka, Kansas are coming to Omaha to protest Brad Fuglei. They're going to the cemetary where he's buried, our school, his church... I'm seriously worried about this, because I heard that they consider it a very successful protest if people get violent. Brad was loved by many people at our school, and some of them will have a hard time with the whole ordeal. Dan also said that this group brings a child with them. A child! I also heard that they also protested Shepard being gay a few years ago, and considered it extremely successful because they broght the crowd almost to riot status. Luckily these.. people.. can't come on the school grounds. If they stand across the street it may cause more problems. Many of the people who knew Brad park in the YMCA lot there and to have to walk past people protesting a close friend's way of life could be nerve wrecking.

Wish me luck.

Made a little memorial graphic. Click here to see it. It's original purpose was to be used for her layout. It still will be, I just wanted to link it up here as well.

I was thinking a little while ago, I used to always wish that they'd come out with a Star Trek movie on my birthday, since they always seemed to come out a few days ahead or behind. Nerdy, huh?

Okay, I must must must must tell ya 'bout my dream I had last night, simply because it was the funniest, coolest, most inspiring dream I've had in a long time. At least one that I could remember. Here goes.

I'm at school, a normal day. Not really my school, but I call it school. So, I'm in this commons area and here comes my cousin and a bunch of her friends (I've only seen them in piccas, so it probably was just my mental mind-interpretations of them) and we all talk for awhile.
She, of course, is one of those friends of my cousin, Ally. We all talk about lots of things, and than suddenly theres a flash and we're all wearing matching (but not exactly the same) outfits. Fuzzy black turtle-necks, purple pants / skirts. Than someone goes "Oh my gosh! It's version 4 of Erika's pita!"
I know, you're thinking that I'm the nerdiest nerd of them all, but getting a new layout out for my own page has driven me slightly insane.
So, through out the school day we all have these different outfits, each based off a pita layout. Needless to say, my favorite was Erika's current layout. I remember that outfit, too. It was a big blue hoodie with "Rhapsodic" written in that cursive font, and a little love-robot on the front. I think I liked that one because it involved wearing jeans instead of.. anything else.

So, now it's official, I'm insane, and I dream of dressing up in other people's layouts. ::rolls over::

Enough stupidity for now, bai!

Much has happened in the last few weeks, or days. Or whatever.

(-) Brad Fugeli, class of 2001, president of just about anything you could think of, and gay, killed himself. He was a great guy, always happy and smiling. I didn't know him personally, but I, like many others, saw him in the hallways, watched him in school plays, heard him speak at school assemblies. He was also teased constantly, his car windows and mirrors busted out daily. Many of the upper-classmen and only a few sophmores & freshman knew of him, and many are broken up from the loss of such a talented person. Rest in peace, Brad. As for the rest of us, lets be a bit more considerate, your simple tease could be the one thing to push someone over the edge.

(-) Thanksgiving's today, happy day to all those who celebrate it! I get two dinners, again, happy me!

(-)I'm seriously working on new layouts. Yay!

(-)My birthday's coming up! Hahahahaha! 17ism, here I come!

That's really it. I got my report card, four 1's, two 3's, and one 2. Pretty darn good. Check out Erika's new pita layout and her other new one! They look soo good! Uhm.. I've been drawing a litte and plan on trying to update my Elfwood gallery some more. Other than that, I've been feeling kinda sick lately, so I get tired early. This is sorta why I haven't gotten much done in the layout department. Oh well.

Later!

Did anyone watch the (re-re-re)re-play of the European MTV VMAs? I caught a little of it today. Looked like Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) was a bit overwhelmed, and I caught the preformance of the chick who danced like a robot with a friggin' screen draped over her. She sang pretty, at least.

Jaime has a pita now, so go and visit her. She's a friend of mine from back in the day, I was bored and I decided to make her a webbiepage-layout. For real, yo. Check it.

I got a new winter coat, which I love. It's soft and warm and pretty rusty red. I also got a really soft sweater and a jean skirt (gasp, I acutally have a skirt) and a really cute shirt. I think right now its my favorite shirt. It's got a picca of an asian lady on it (like those old japanese paintings..?) in shimmery gold with pale characters around it. It's so pretty! Pretty! Yay!

No layout for this place yet. Still wanting it to be so perfect!

My birthdays coming up (the 29th) so I'm kinda excited. P.O.D. is coming to our town and having a concert on the 24th! I think going would be fun..

So now I'm tired, and my throat hurts. I'm going to go fiddle with my mp3s (I can't stand it when they're typed all wrong) now.

Azhben.pitas.com is not yet a year old, and is named after a word in Melanie Rawn's fiction meaning 'dragon-woman'.

Site uses tables, CCS. Looks good in 800x600 and up. The higher, the better. Use as many colors as possible, and don't compress the graphics!
