Slight musical review: No Doubt
Now, I've downloaded 9 tracks from their new CD, Rock Steady, and is it just me, or are they hella repetitive? It's like for most songs they thought of a nice chorus but couldn't find any words for the rest of the song. 'Don't Let Me Down,' 'Hella Good,' 'Making Out,' 'Rock Steady,' 'Start The Fire,' & 'Waiting Room' are prime examples. 4 minutes of the same damn rhythm and repeating lyrics. 'Hey Baby' was pretty good, even if it did appear as though they were trying to hop on that hip-hop bandwagon that seems so popular these days. C'mon, Gwen! Show us a little of that Gavin influence! Argity arg.

I'm watercoloring a picture of Ifrit (Final Fantasy video games) and it's looking okay. The backgrounds kinda weird looking, but hey, it's all good! I like it. I'm hoping to take a digi-picca of it soon to post up on my homepage. I've just gotta upload the homepage itself to my cox.net address. They need to give a little more space though, there's only 10 free megs.. but decent bandwith!

What else is going on... not too much.. cleaned my room yesterday, hung out at home. I've been downloading anime a lot. I've got a few episodes of Noir(1-3), Magic Knights Rayearth(1-3), Trigun(1-2), Serial Experiments Lain(1-4), and the OVA's for Ah! My Goddess(1-3), and the movie for it. And a few music videos. And I just got my very first episode of Ranma 1/2 downloaded, since it's old-school-classic and I have never seen it before. I think I'll watch it after I get my shower.

Since my cable is connected to my computer via USB, I can't upload any piccas from my digi-cam or my web cam. >.< Where's my damn hub?!

Everything's going well, basically. My brother's birthday is coming up on the 12th, I forget how old he'll be. He's definately coming to North next year, which is great-tastic! I could pick him up from home and take him to school and we'll be homies! ^.^ He'll prolly need to take a bus home though, since I never have concrete plans on where I'm going after school.

It was so windy last night. Loudness. And my window isn't that high-quality in the first place, so it made it cold in my room. I guess it snowed too, because the area around my window used to have almost no snow around it, and now it's all covered up again. Yum. And they won't shovel the sidewalks until Monday. Apartment living r fun!

What's been yappening? Not too much here. Just sortsa causing trouble at Suteki and working on a few layouts. I'd like to help do redesigns for a few EverQuest sites, since they look like crud. And because it's something to do.

Today in English we had this mega quiz that I didn't study for and we had to turn in something for a grade, which I decided not to do. Yea. That class can lick my toe. Twice. We also had our junior class assembly today to vote for senior offices for next year. Looks to be an interesting group, to say the least.

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY, DANNO!!!

I dressed up in a skirt for him today. I was coldzers, but it was pretty cool because he said I looked pretty. ^.^ Personally I hate it because my legs are scared up due to their high irratability rate and my tom boy childhood. An' my poor shoes cut up my feet. But hey, what're you gonna do? When I got here (I'm at Dans) I got a pair of his comfy pants to wear and some socks too. Now I'm almost totally comfy! And it's almost time to leave again! Craptastic!

Anywho, I've got a great big bitchy post to make when I get home, and I've gotta find all my shiz and get it together.

Click here, and here for beautiful layouts. I was cruising the Suteki "Blogs" topic. There are tons of pretty layouts up there, and I'm thinking of adding them to the links section, but at the same time I'd like to watch their blogs a bit more before linking them just to.. get to know them? a little more. I feel as if I put a huge buncha links up now that it'd be a little to insincere.. or something. Yea.

But anywho, I got cable, and it's crazy. Until I get an ethernet card set up I've got to settle with only 20-70kbs download time, but heya! I'm not complaining because it's way faster than the 2-5kbs I'd go before! It's awesome because I can't quite let go to the feeling that everytime I'm online doing something I'm not using the phone line. Dan and I were talking on the phone and on AIM last night and it was the creepiest thing.

We had both Thursday and Friday off as snow days, which was awesomely awesome because I've got research papers up the yang and I really just need a break. I think I've got my 40 notecards for English done (although probably the wrong way, but oh well) and I'm hoping that we'll still get ample class time to complete our 4 one page essays in American History. Next year I think I'm just going to ditch Honors English classes, as much as I love to read. It wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that Honors teachers think you don't have enough to do and that you ALWAYS need a research paper. In other classes when the teacher runs out of ideas you do a worksheet. In these classes, you do essays and papers that are horrendously long.

I think my Art teacher made a mistake, though. I didn't complete one of my assignments, and he's always saying how that will bring our grade down horribly. And it didn't... oh well. My Chemistry grade is amazing, since almost everyone in that class -should- be flunking it, but I think he's had to curb every test he's given out. We're doing this new packet system in his class. He gives out a packet of worksheets and labs and you complete them with your group, working totally on your own, and than when you're done you're tested. I'm wondering why some of the people who lagged behind in the last packet are suddenly ahead of us in this one. I think it's because of their awesome intimidating words and the fact that the people who are always ahead of us would drop answers quick.

Anywho.. I fell asleep halfway through this entry and it's now like, 11:21 AM. Yea, I had a nice little nap. And it's friggin' bright outside! The sun is glaring offa the snow and it's blinding, I tells ya! Enywho, I'm gonna eat something now! Bai!

That school should give Jen a huge-mun-gerous break. I've got 40 notecards due on Friday, 4 one page essays on the 1920's.. and just too much crap! Argh.

I hate it when it snows. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't live in a part of town full of old people who suddenly seem to decide on a good, slow (because there's .00005 of in inch of snow blowing across the road) drive. I wanted to honk so badly. Dumb jumpsuit wearing assholes.

Yea, school is super stupid. My chemistry teacher keeps giving me shit about not working up to my 'intellectual potential' and stuff. Well, excuse me! It's not like I ASK to have my group do absolutely NOTHING in the way of help. And than one of my group members yells at me if I write sloppy because this person, "Can't read that!" What the fuck ever, you're not even TRYING to read the damn worksheet. I swear I'm going to have some sort of breakdown in that class. Jeebus.

Last night I took her and her girlfriend and one other girl to a PACT party at a local pizza place. Blew my $10 on a buffet I had hardly nothing of. So now I've gotta make up a fake fee so I can fill "Ye Olde Bitch" up with gas.

Dan's had a throat thing the past few days, so he's been staying home. I miss him lots, but I know that other than the scratchy throat he's probably enjoying the gaming time to himself. ^.^ Oh well. I need to take piccas of this kick ass box I made in pottery. It r0x0rs. I need to finish some of it, but it'll all be cool. I should probably get it out of the car before this supposed '4 inches' of snow falls.

That's another thing, if it does snow an insane amount tonight, they had better not wait until the very last minute to cancel school. I don't want to be half-way there and then hear on the radio that school's canceled. Although an extra day to work on those 40 notecards would be so awesome.

Ah.. the only show I watch on MTV anymore is Cribs, when it's on, because that whole interior design thing has always interested me, and occasionally I'll watch Jackass, just because it's funny.

I'm so tired and sick feeling. There's something going through school and everyone's sick. Personally, I've got a killer scratch in my throat. My friend Mycke has mono (although all I've ever shared with him is a fucking Gardetto. A pretzel, no less) and Liz has something. Not sure what.

I'm sleepy.. time for beddy-bye, now that I have at least 2/6 bib cards done for mah Engrish class. Gotta get the other four tomarrow morning. At seven in da morning. Stupid English. STUUUPID. ::sigh::

If I don't bring the Brood War CD tomarrow Dan's gonna have my ass, and not in a good way.

Yesterday in American History this new teen mother (her baby be almosts a monf or two old, dawg..) was reading a paragraph from our text, and it was so funny. Yes, I'm being 'cruel' to those who have 'open minds.' But you can have morals and opinions and still be pretty open minded. So blah. Well, anywayssss.. she was making up words left and right. You should have heard her try to pronounce 'conscription.' It's not hard text at all, she just didn't even want to THINK about what she was reading, and look cool doing it. I guess that's just like how she was 'THINKING' when she had sex with her 'baby-daddy' and got pregnant. And how she expected everyone to be cool with the fact that she whined for god knows how long before she left school to have that child. Don't get me wrong, sex all you want. Hey, I've got a boyfriend! But he RESPECTS me and I RESPECT him enough to not even put each other at risk of pregnancy. Anyway, we busted up laughing. Uneducated bitches are better than.. whatever's on the tube right now. And where's her baby-daddy, you ask? In jail, of course! The funnies thing was, before the baby was born she was talking about naming the baby things like 'Tyrese' and 'DaShawn.' After the baby was born? His name is Jason. Goodness.
